Hello, I am a single mother, I have a daughter and i have dedicated myself only to her. I never got married or got together with another man ever again since my daughter was born. Because i feared that something could happen to my child or she could be abused. That is why i stayed single taking care of my daughter, I have always worked cleaning houses to be able to survive my daughter and i. We don't have a home of our own or a car. We have always rented rooms with other people. Because I can't afford to rent an apartment or studio for the two of us only. My daughter still can't work yet to help me. Both my daughter and i have no addiction to anything. We don't drink or smoke or anything like that. We have never had any legal problems of police, we don't have any criminal record. My daughter and i are very peaceful pacific people and we don't like getting into trouble of like problems at all. But now I have a very big problem, Its my health. After feeling very ill and even ending up in the hospital. I had gotten some exams and i was detected a renal and liver problem along with diabetes. And that is why I've almost gone blind. I cannot see 60% well, which is why now i cannot even work. I don't know what I'm going to do, I can't even pay my bills and my rent. And I am always in need of food for the next days and the worst thing is i don't even have funds to be able to put myself in the hands of a good doctor so i could get the treatment i need and medication as well as the tests i need so my health doesn't get worst. I don't even have any glasses to be able to see a bit better. I don't have anything to be able to go to an eye doctor and get the glasses i really need for my eyes.
This is why I dare to ask people of good will, good heart, have compassion of me and help me by donating what ever you can, What ever you want so I am able to survive in these difficult times for me and to be able to get a doctor and the treatment i really need as well as keeping a roof above my daughters head and having a warm place to sleep at night. Is there any help available for a 21 year old male who was in a serious car accident and broke his leg and had to have surgery. 10 weeks healing time ahead. He has no health insurance and will not be able to return to his job. He is currently in Charlotte, NC. He will not have money to pay for therapy and medications. It's Christmas time again-another depressing year.I have no money for Christmas.My utilities have shut off notices and if I don't come up with $2,000 by February the city will take my house for back taxes.I had money saved up but had to use it for a health emergency.I am having a hard time living on $800 a month and working a job I should not be doing that will put me in a wheelchair a lot sooner.I can't quit because there are no jobs in my state.My furniture was ruined and should be thrown out but I have nothing to replace it with.I have been asking all over for a small couch or loveseat and a chair with no luck.Could any one PLEASE HELP?All I need is a hand up.
in response to Dsnyder752...You are welcome Dawn and I wish there was a program or programs that really helped people..I am glad you live close by a school as many are and have lost internet and turned to the library. I hope you can find work and see the job ideas again for ideas without a computer and check out books at the library.. You are so welcome for the help and let me know how everything goes. There are many here and elsewhere facing issues with bills and health and it isn't easy but I hope you find some help.
Have you tried craigslist for a job or place to stay..???

Are you under a doctors care and do you need a free medical clinic for your health problems? Can your work at all by applying to some of the work from home jobs in the JOBIDEAS link I gave you? Are you able to talk to your doctor about getting ssdi?
Have you checked in with this site as many are living with each other till they can get back on their feet some people take in others into their home. It is worth a try

in response to Dsnyder752...I just wanted to add here that it's not too complicated to get a paypal account. However the one thing that you will need to join is a bank account. As long as you have that then you should really sign up for one as it is free to join.
Once you have had that feeling of someone sending you money via Paypal you will be glad that you joined it.

My friend lives in a small town too in Ohio and has to travel a way for food.

in response to Starshine...sorry about that i live in Mount Vernon Ohio its a small ruarl town.. i have tried all the social services in my area but many in my town are in need of help that all the funds have been depleted. my church has helped with 250.00. i got a money order an dropped it in the night deposit box at my landlords office. i hope that he will see that i am trying. and not serve an eviction notice tomorrow!!!
Locate you local legal aid office - they may be able to intervene on your behalf with the rent and utilities and buy you some time. Also contact modest needs - they may be able to assist with a grant for your rent.Check with organizations like catholic charities, red cross, st vincent de paul - I have all their sites on my home page... I hope this helps..

Please helpppppp!!! i dont know what to do i need help I'm a single mom of two great little boys!! one of which has a blood disorder that requires special attention all the time.. i have run into some financial trouble. in july i had a small stroke that i am still recovering from . i found out that i have a small hole in my heart. the meds the doctor has me on from my blood pressure is causing my leggs and feet to swell too the point i cant walk on them ..so with all that i lost my job an cant get unemployment my savings has ran out an i have until oct 10th to pay my rent 700.00 if i do not pay it by the 10th i will have 5 days to pack up and leave i have no family and i have tried all the social service agency in town and i was turned away because no one can help unless you are 30 days pass due but my landlord doesnt let u get but 10days pass due an he evicts you . i also have a shutoff notice for my electric and water my trash removal has already stopped . so please can someone help me !!!! my email address is mamadawns@yahoo.com if everyone can just send $1.00 maybe i will get enough to pay my rent

Your story is heartbreaking. I found (2) contacts for the Salvation Army in your area. The Salvation Army may be able to provide some financial assistance to help with your electric bill and water bill. Please keep us posted on your progress. Stay strong and don't give up.

first of all check with your local social services office and apply for medicaid.Medicaid is retroactive to the date of application.
You can also file for unemployment.
if you need prescriptions, check with partnership for prescription assistance.

I am a 24 year old immigrant from Poland, unemployed and uninsured. I
have a very serious and painful spinal condition that can only be
treated with medication and eventually surgery. I can't get insurance
because it is a pre-existing condition and no insurance company will
take me on. I had a very hard childhood with abusive and neglectful
parents and have no family support. I'm having trouble keeping a steady
paycheck due to the excruciating pain that I have to deal with
everyday. Now the doctor that I have gone to since I was 12 is closing
his practice. I have called almost every doctor's office in the state
of Connecticut and I can't find one yet that will treat me without
insurance. I have never begged for money and never thought that I
would, but I have reached my wits end. I don't feel very confident that
this will even work, but right about now I am prepared to try anything.

I have been denied disability 4 times. i was a certified mechanic for 15 years.
Now,I can't work because of heart problems,copd,high blood pressure and mild depression.I can't afford to buy the medicine I need.My wife is on restricted parttime because of her recent spinal fusion.Shes needing more surgery in the next couple of months. We are about to get evicted from our apartment.
